What began in 1971 as a small polemount repair shop has grown into the largest rebuilder of oil filled transformers in the country, and a full service transformer rebuild and maintenance facility. Today, Solomon Corp is still family owned and operated, purchased in 2000 from the original founder, Gene Hammer, by his five children. Since then, there has been an added commercial storage facility, a paint shop, and brand new locations have opened in Texas and Colorado.
